Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: What size of this toy should I choose for my dog?
Ans: Choose a size slightly larger than your dog’s mouth width to ensure safe and enjoyable play. The toy comes in two sizes: 5.5 inches and 7 inches.
Measure your dog’s mouth width and select the size slightly larger than that measurement to ensure safe, comfortable chewing and prevent choking hazards.
Q2: Is this safe for aggressive chewers?
Ans: Yes, the Spot Bam-bones Fish & Salmon Tough Chew Toy is designed for aggressive chewers and is made from durable materials to resist damage. However, it’s important to supervise your dog during play to monitor wear and prevent accidental ingestion.
Q3: How do I clean this toy?
Ans: To clean the toy, wash it with warm soapy water. Then use a brush to remove dirt. Rinse thoroughly to remove soap residue, then air dry before returning it to your dog.
Q4: When will the scent wear off this chew toy?
Ans: The fish and salmon scent is infused to attract dogs, but over time and with regular use or washing, the scent may gradually fade. Despite this, the toy’s durability and functionality remain unaffected by the scent loss.
Q5: Is the Bam-Bones Dog Chew Toy safe for my puppy to use?
Ans: Puppies can use the smaller size variant, but it’s important to supervise them closely. Ensure the toy is appropriate for their developing teeth and avoid letting them chew too aggressively to prevent dental damage or choking hazards.
