Where We Ship From
All orders are shipped from trusted U.S. fulfillment partners, ensuring faster delivery and reliable tracking for every order.
Processing Times
Orders are typically processed and handed off to the carrier within 1–3 business days. Processing times may vary during high-volume periods or due to supplier constraints.
Shipping Times
Most orders arrive within 2–10 business days. Delivery times may vary depending on carrier delays, supplier processing times, weather or seasonal volume, and your location.
Orders in transit cannot be canceled, but we're always here to help if any issues arise after delivery.
Shipping Costs
We currently do not offer free shipping. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on weight, destination, and carrier availability.
Expedited Shipping
Expedited shipping may be available for select products — particularly items fulfilled from our in-house inventory, such as fish medications. Because availability depends on our fulfillment partners, expedited options may not appear for all items. If expedited shipping is available for your order, it will appear automatically at checkout.
Split Shipments
Some orders may arrive in multiple packages depending on product availability and supplier location. If your order ships separately, you will receive multiple tracking numbers and packages may arrive on different days. This is normal and does not affect your order status.
Tracking Your Order
Once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking number by email. Occasionally, carriers may experience slow or missing initial scans, delayed updates, or gaps in tracking during transit — this is common with USPS and during high-volume periods. If tracking hasn't updated for several days, feel free to reach out.
Incorrect or Undeliverable Addresses
Please double-check your shipping details at checkout. If an order is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address, shipping fees are non-refundable and a reshipment fee may apply. We cannot reroute packages once they have shipped.
Lost or Missing Packages
If your tracking shows "Delivered" but you haven't received your package, please check with neighbors or household members, verify the shipping address on your order, and contact the carrier directly. If you still need help, reach out to us and we'll guide you through the next steps.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days at sales@thepetperch.com with your order number and photos of the issue. We'll make it right at no cost to you.
Packaging Notice
Some items may arrive in supplier-branded or plain packaging depending on the fulfillment partner. This does not affect product authenticity or quality.
