1. Quarantine Setup & Water Preparation Isolate affected fish in a dedicated quarantine or hospital tank prior to medication. Discontinue chemical filtration (such as activated carbon) and switch off UV sterilizers during treatment, as these remove active cephalexin from solution. Performing a partial water change before the first dose helps reduce organic load and water stress.

2. Aquarium Dosing Instructions Add one 250 mg capsule per 10 gallons (38 L) or one 500 mg capsule per 20 gallons (76 L) of aquarium water. Open the capsule, pre-dissolve the powder in a small cup of tank water, and distribute evenly across the surface. Repeat the dose every 24 hours for 5 to 10 days. Perform a partial water change between consecutive treatments. Discontinue use and consult a specialist if no improvement is noted within 5 days.

3. Administration in Non-Food Avian Species Fix Flex may be administered to non-food pet birds (such as pigeons) strictly under the direct guidance and dosage regimen prescribed by a licensed avian veterinarian. Capsules are typically incorporated into soft food or drinking water as instructed by the vet. Follow veterinary orders exclusively regarding exact dosing and administration duration.

4. Water Quality Management & Post-Treatment Care Maintain strong aeration and monitor water parameters like ammonia and nitrite throughout treatment.
